is patjhad ki pehli barf giri..

is shyaam se mausam ko,
shvet chaadar pehna gayi..
thodi si sardi ko khud me simta ke,
rui ke dher sadkon pe faila gayi..

kuch maheeno tak ka saath hai,
kabhi ek patli makhmali parat bankar..
to kabhi zaanon tak sab kuch nigalti,
aur kabhi toofani sailaab bankar..

jab tak suraj ki garmi itni tez na ho jaaye,
ki ise pighlakar baha le jaaye..
tab tak iski hi hukumat hai,
par kaash wo garmi jaldi aaye..
jo ise pighlakar baha le jaaye
