Shadows of an incomplete match and a not-so-recognized lineup of competitors maye scar this victory, yet it is an important one considering the fact that its been 8 years since he passed 4 tournaments without any luck. Ironically, it is the clay that brought the first win for Federer this year. How much that means will be evident when he faces more expert players in the upcoming tournaments.
