The tennis and fashion mania hits New York

It took me some time to realize I just had one on one chat with James Blake and Kim Clijsters but thankfully I got my senses back in time and met few other great people at the Fila’s launch of James Blake’s Thomas Reynolds Collection.

I finally met Richard Henry as well, the owner of MyTennisFashion. He’s a great guy in addition to being a pro himself. He is taking his vision of tennis and fashion ahead slowly and steadily. Of course, seeing Blake and Clijsters from that close was the reward itself, but I do feel honored to meet my fave tennis writer — Pete Bodo from www.tennis.com Even though his incisive posts on Federer make me cringe at times, he writes spot on. I wish I can achieve his command on the language and game someday. Pete, you rock!

And of course, the fabulous Richard from DownTheLineTennis. I hope to see you writing on MyTennisFashion soon!

So, overall I can’t imagine wanting to be anywhere other than New York right now. What a start to US Open this time!

Here’s the official article at MTF.

Thanks to Aks and his amazing SLR and finally my pen that props up at right times. After all, with such an abundance of quotes and details to save, you can’t rely on memory alone!
