New York’s own seed funding program

It didn't make sense that the vibrant NYC didn't have its own startup mentoring program such as TechStars. So, I am glad to see the foundation of SeedStars. 8 week summer program is already taking applications for 2010. Very very lucrative esp for people like me who are tied to NYC and I am sure there are plenty. It nicely complements the burgeoning high-tech VC/entrepreneurs community in the tristate area. And NYC being the broadcasting media hub as well will always be a fertile choice for tech ventures focusing on digital media.
